Nathan's rather excited, so he completely forgets to respond to the other stuff concerning Atheneum/the secret library.  He already thinking about the possibilities, pulled out his journal and made a note concerning Bill's residence on Route 12...

The excitement very quickly overrides the fluster Ralts had been mirroring a moment ago.

How Nathan's reacting to this news has probably piqued 'his' Furret's own curiosity a little, I imagine.

Furret is more interested in playing with the other Furret. They're chasing each other around the room, which doesn't take much time since together they are as long as one wall.
