Skull Ruins Haunter Round 1

Haunter have 2 Insight so it takes them minimum 3 rounds to wake up. They are now KO'd, Glared, and Grappled! Both sets of teeth clatter to the ground as the Haunter's energy levels fade to nothing. They float slowly to the floor as two wisps of shadow...still smiling.

Apsis is acting like she is chilled to the bone, lethargic, though examination reveals no frost. Her scales feel cold to Ven's empathy but not to his touch. Michael and Ventus are a little cold too, but don't really show it.

Fueled by MUCH more than healthy level of RAGE, Ventus and his family proceeded to roundly beating the ever loving ectoplasm out of the would be soul devouring Haunters once they were sent to dreamland by Spore, giving them a lesson from the school of hard knocks they would never forgot. Apsis in particular was especially viscous to the shade duo as she tore into them with her Bites, as having the life blasted out of her with their Ghostly powers and being just as incessed as her master was over the stunt they tried to pull did nothing but make her mood even fouler than before!

Pragmatically minded and not completely consumed by his WRATHFUL feelings, the empath decided to 'spare' both Haunter the fate of being doubled deadified and simply capture them instead, as if nothing else he could turn a quick profit off them and put them in the hands of someone that could discipline them.

That, and murdering Haunter around his mercenary (who presumably is just letting Ven run the show while he acts as bodyguard just in case) who OWNED one himself wasn't particularly a considerate or nice thing to do, even if they DID nearly froze his dear sister's soul with their Shadow Balls....

The first fiend was capture without a fuss, but when the second one defiantly popped right back out, Ven - who was left panting and sweaty after letting loose all the pent up RAGE at the Haunter and just being in Barrow Downs - gave that one a extremely nasty glare, before he shook his head and let out a foul curse under his breath and retrieved the Steel Ball, put it away, and tossed out a regular Pokeball instead. If that fail and broke the ball, then he would aim his Great Ball at it next. Fail THAT, and Ven would just swear even more profusely and storm out of Barrow Downs and back to the Candelabra, not wanting to linger in that PLACE any longer than need be, in case something like a Duskinior or Mismagius decided stroll on in and make his life interesting. He had enough of that with Chandelure, thank you very much!

Order: Collect and store last Steel Ball, toss a regular Pokeball at it in the hopes that it will catch them, and then toss the Great Ball if that fails and breaks the Pokeball. If both attempts fail (IE both balls break) then Ven's just going to cut his losses and regroup with Valder at the Candelabra, leaving the remaining Haunter 'alive' for self evident reasons. At the Candelabra, if its possible and Nylon is not around to explicitly authorize it, have them send out their Haunter to skulk around in the various planes of the room to find/drive out Chandelure. If that fails, just stop it right there while I decide if Ven's willing to do the worst.
