[Sprite] EeveeBailey's Unofficial Nuclear Sprites (FANART)
#75
I think with these, I'll finally have my FB postings caught up to here! Big Grin

Unofficial Nuclear Pokemon #17: Nuclear Raptorch/Orchynx/Eletux

"You know it was just a dream, a horrible nightmare conjured by a mind horrified at what the Pokemon at Epsilon had become. But even as your faithful companion nuzzles you affectionately, eyes shining brightly with both love and concern, you know the damage has already been done... you will never be able to see your loyal friend the same way again..."

- Paraphrased from upcoming fanfic release "Epsilon"

Unofficial Nuclear Pokemon #18: Nuclear Dramsama (FB request)

Beware approaching a Nuclear Dramsama; it harbors a terrible grudge against humanity for their role in the meltdowns that shook Tandor.  If it sees any human, it will attempt to punish them by trapping them in a horrible illusion of the nuclear disasters that Dramsama itself endured.

Default moveset:
Psychic
Shadow Ball
Fallout
Half-Life

Special FB Request: "Missingno" / "Nuclear Missingno"

A FB user sent me this image and challenged me to make a Nuclear sprite out of it...

I was given completely free rein to name it and come up with a compelling backstory, so... this is what I came up with!

What happens to a Pokemon when something unforseeable goes wrong in a trade? Do they return to their Trainers unharmed... disappear and cease to exist... or does something else happen to them entirely?

When data errors occur in a trade -- whether by glitch, deliberate hack, or rogue viruses -- many Pokemon are tragically torn asunder by the digital turbulence. Many times, these shattered pieces vanish into cyberspace, and the entire Pokemon itself fades into non-existence. However, if large portions of their internal code remain intact, they can exist as ghosts within the machine, glitches in and of themselves. These poor fractured souls, if discovered in a PC Box, can easily corrupt and destroy all other Pokemon they come in contact with. To the few Trainers who have encountered these horrifying glitch-Pokemon, they are commonly known as "Missingno".

On very rare occasions, these Missingno fragments can combine with one another to form new varieties of Missingo; while their code is inherently more stable, they are still capable of random glitches that can wipe out entire boxes of Pokemon. If Missingno fragments are fused as a result of powerful electromagnetic pulses from radioactive sources -- such as an atomic bomb -- they can become Nuclear Missingno; these highly aggressive and corrupted mutations will actively seek to replicate themselves and spread, destroying any and all Pokemon they come in contact with.

If you come across any Missingno -- Nuclear or otherwise -- it is always best to destroy them immediately; attempting to "take mercy" on them and keep them for rehabilitation will only result in the damage and corruption of far more Pokemon than the one you are trying to save. If you are so inclined, be sure to say a special prayer that Arceus will take pity on their fractured souls in the afterlife.
