Misdreavus is female. She's very shy around her new trainer, but always does exactly as ordered in battle. She actually seems in a mood to leave Corsage Port ASAP, and won't be her usual mischievous self until then.

Obviously picking up on his newest sister's meekness around him, Ventus gave a small but warm smile to her, and extended a hand out in a welcoming gesture while speaking softly and gently.

"There there, Misdreavus. I mean you no harm or trespass, and only wish to introduce myself as your trainer. My name is Ventus Zacharieh, and I'm a Pokemon Sociologist that is traveling the region in pursuit of my research, among other goals of mine pertaining to Cheshire wellbeing, but I digress. In time, I hope I can call you my sister as well, for I consider all my Pokemon members of my family, but I won't ever rush or impose such a title on upon you. Regardless, I will always treat you with kindness and loving care, and do my utmost to ensure you are well provided for, so do not fret...."

The research pauses at this point to give the banshee a wider closed eyes smile, before gesturing at her with his outstretched hand.

"Now, as a member of my family, you are entitled to a name that sets you apart from the rest of species, and demostrate you inherent qualities and uniqueness. Knowing you species propensity for sorcery (Ven says this notably without rancor) and bewitching beings minds, I believe the name Malphena is all to appropreite. The name is a femine twist of the name of a President rank demon named Malphas, a fiend that was considered to be THE master of magic and manipulating the thoughts and feeling of others. What do you think?"

His experssion then turns thoughtful after he said this, giving his newest sister a curious/concerned look as he posed another question at her.

"I imagine after your.....battle with Chuckles, you wish to depart Corsage immediately, but I have to ask if that conflict left you overly drained and famished? If you are, I could provide you a meal myself, as I possess considerable mastery over my emotional responses, which include generating genuine feelings of fear you could feast on. Otherwise, we can leave here ASAP, and discuss other matters in a more comfortable setting (IE: Her upcoming role to fight Haunter)."

Furret's looking curiously at the icy blue disc Nathan's holding.  Emolga's obviously chittering away and asking what that weird circle is.  He's never seen anything like it before!

"It's a TM, Emolga.  A Technical Machine.  Can teach a move to a pokemon if they're compatible with it.  Trying to figure out if I should use it now or not..."

After introductions and other matters were resolved with his Misdreavus, Ventus recalled her exited the Corsage's City and, with the help of his much trusted and extremely valued brothered Haziel, was standing outside the East Pokemon Center in Cress moments later. He gave his prophetic bird a much deserved pat on the hand and a handful of sunflower seeds from his satchel, and then entered the lobby and swiftly noticed Nathan over at a table with his Furret holding a.....TM? 

'By the looks of it, its appears to hold the knowledge of an Ice type move on it, a rare and valuable offense to posses. Hmm.......I would have to more closely inspect it and inquire to know what it is exactly, but its something my sister could potentially use......perhaps......' the empath thought to himself, mulling this new discovery over in his head until he nodded to himself, and glided over to where the young scholar was, taking a seat near him and garner him an inquisitive look.

"Greeting Nathan! I trust you've had a wonderful and relaxing day thus far, or so I wish it to be. We all need a little more peace and tranquility in our lives, in my esteemed opinion.... Anyhow, I could help but notice that Ice type TM you are holding. Pray tell, what exactly is the move on it? If its the right one, I'm willing to make a deal with you to acquire it for myself. Ice type coverage is always desired among those that can use it, after all."
