I probably wouldn't use it for battling much anyway, maybe only once to try Swift Swim out. I'd want it for the symbolism and as a company when diving, but now I'm pondering... Hmm. But that 0 Loyalty does not mean that it doesn't like me, does it? That'd be sad.
