There are several things to do at the nice bed and breakfast.

Your room is full of cushions and has a nice big bed with plush red bedding. There's a mini-bar with the basics, and room service can bring you more ingredients if you like.

The hot tub is in a nook in the room. Includes lots of scented oils and bubble mixes. By the bed is a phone and a TV and a mirror.

As Ventus and his date not so secret crush entered into their bedroom, he couldn't help but let out an interest and approving *Hmm....* as he swept his ponderous gaze over the fine amenities on offer by the Romantic B&B. Like Shiva, he similarly discreened that the vibe of their room spoke more to a sense of providing traquility and closeness than purely romantic, causing the empath to imprecibly sigh and loosen up a tad. At the very least he didn't have to worry about the atmosphere of their room smother him or her that way, or overly pressuring/influencing them to act more.....boldly then they were comfortable with. Reshirim knows he's already more skittish/nervous than a Skitty surrounded by hungry Houndour by his 'night out' with his fae friend, and he didn't need their room amplifying that harrowing sensation!

Unlike Shiva, however, the sociologist wasn't blown away or overly impressed by their room to the same degree as Shiva. While he could hardly call himself a man wealth and taste, he'd visited and stay at enough luxurious/high class establishments over the course of his short but eventful dating life to be somewhat inured to all but the most opulent displays. That didn't mean he was unable to appreciate everything on offer, as such an fine 'night out' was still a rare experience for him to enjoy, much less him being the one invited to join in it by his most blessed friend, and not the other way around! To think she'd care for him so much, so deeply, faithfully,  and trustingly as to go outside her comfort zone to reserve a no doubt expensive night at the B&B, all with the explicit intent to share it with him ... it was almost inconceivable.

Yet he still could, and it made him all the more awestruck, touched, and humbled by the woman he had came to love.

'Oh Shiva.....how did I ever come to deserve such affection from a wonderful, magnificent, angelic person like you? What do you see in wretched, twisted man as I, to so willingly place your yourself in my hands, all without hesitation, the utmost faith and trust in me......?'

Those thoughts lingered in his head as he silently watched his fae fancy lounge on the richly red bed with a carefully neutral and somewhat disbelieving stare, before he slowly shook his head to dispel such ponderings. Regardless of whether he deserved it or not, Shiva did care GREATLY for him and had seemingly invited him out to show him just how much he meant to her, so he was going to do his damnest to relax and enjoy it all for both their sakes. After all, he did love her, and spending a 'romantic' evening with her was practically beyond his wildest imagination.

It didn't mean it was not also nerve wracking and EXTREMELY intimidating affair for him as well, though. It took far more effort than it should to repress and control all the anxiety he was enduring, and if such horridly uncomfortable feelings persisted (or grew worse) throughout the evening.....

Drastic measures were in order to correct this, then. So while Shiva was cuddling the sheets and pillows on the bed, Ventus marched right over to the inspect mini bar.

It was time to break one of his taboos, mix up a drink, and get drunk.

He normally abhorred the idea of drinking, as he had severe reservation about what it does to people, but if he didn't do something to ease his frayed nerves then neither he nor Shiva would have a grand time, and the very LAST thing he wanted was to disappoint his heart's desire.

However, the act of getting properly enbriated was easer said than done. Given his heritage and immense Vitality/fortitude, Ven was practically immune to all but the most potent of brews, spirits, and distillations, and even then it took quite of them for him to get a buzz. However, he knew just a cocktail recipie in mind to accomplish the job in a fairly short order: The Aunt Roberta.

One of his former co-workers from his research day taught/told him of this infamous recipie after seeing him down a couple of shots of moonshine on a dare without flitching, figuring that if he could handle the White Lightening so easily he could handle such a monster of a drink without passing out or dying of liver damage.

Needless to say, his co-worker was right, but it was still didn't change the fact it was still a drink stronger than a Machamp.

He found all the ingredients/requested any missing by room service and set to work making such a deadly concoction, complete absorbed in his work until he strained the final product into a chilled glass, and admired dark colored drink.....

....before he bite the Bullet Punch and took his first sip.

Ventus almost felt like he was hit by the move when he did so, his face srunching up and blinking wildly at the STRONG (yet never the less tasty) beverage, but his body quickly adapted as he muster onwards with another sip. Soon a pleasant numbing sensation began to blanket over him as continued, doing a terrific job of soothing him and deadening any lingering negativity.....and with it loosening his inhibitions.

'Ah...........the drink is beginning to take affect, and with it comes much needed relief from my woes. Thank Reshirim for that. Hopefully this will be enough to tide me over for the night and becalm my restless soul, yet still leave me with enough of my senses to properly attend the night with my love. Such a perfect woman deserve my very best, and I will certainly give all to her....'

By the time he and Shiva tried the hot tub out,  the now slightly soused researcher had already finished half his Aunt Roberta and had a notably different air about him. Gone was bundle of nervous anxiety that underlined his every action and threatened to burst out at the right provocation, and in its place was a languid and serene calmness , with small, simple smile that never the less managed to come of as good spirited and all knowing too. His apparal for bathing was simply a pair of forest green swimming trucks, his chest and the lasting impression that Skunktank gave him completely uncovered, looking much more rugged and wiry from his extensive journey throughout Cheshire. Hard work did his body good in its path to recovery, and it seemed like their was no sign of his former weakness that stiffened him so.

When he first saw Shiva come back from the bathroom in her fine black one piece swimming suit, he gave her a wide closed eyed smiled and said to her: "You look beautiful , my dear. Simply marvelous, really! Now, let us plunge into the hot tube and luxuriate in its radiate, basking warmth together." Upon entering, Ventus closed his eyes and leaned back against the wall and let out a low, pleased *Sigh* with that same smile, before re-opening them and looking over where his crush had situated herself away from him. He couldn't help but chuckle at how meek she was being now, barely restraining herself to taking peeks at his scared chest, before he reached over and pulled her over right by his side, giving her a cheerful and easy going smile.

"No need to sequester yourself away from me, my dear. This is our night out together, so we should only enjoy it as such, yes? Oh, and you needn't avert your gaze from me, Shiva. I'm not embarrassed nor haunted by my scars, so look at them all that you wish to."

After that moment and whatever reaction on her part was played out, they both enjoyed their soak in the hot tub until it was time for dinner (by then he had finished his Aunt Roberta), where upon he got and toweled himself off before slipping into his robe and heading down to the dinning room with her.

Below Spoiler: The Conversation Log of the Romantic B&B Thus Far

Downstairs, they will have a romantic candlelit dinner at 8:00. Each table gets its own little nook in the half-darkness. The waiter only comes by when you push the button to summon him, and to seat you and get you set up.

"What will you have to drink, sir and madam? Here is the drink menu, and the food menu for when you are ready." (Bear in mind this is all part of the cost of your stay.)

"Ah, and here is Cherie with your special dinner guest, Luvdisc!" Cherie comes in wheeling a cute fish tank with a small Luvdisc in it. Luvdisc comes to the surface as Cherie places wineglasses before each of you. "Sparkling or hard?" Whatever your preference, the special Luvdisc fires a Water Pulse of champagne directly into your glass! Then it happily blows bubbles within its tank, creating a pleasant white noise for the rest of the dinner.


The menu includes things like Clawitzer claw, fancy salads, steaks (grown in a lab, but this is not advertised or considered unusual in Creshire), and every kind of pasta under the sun.

In the end it was Shiva who somewhat carefully, yet behind the pages eager, took the initiative and locked their room open with her on received roomkeys, and the moment she stepped into it and dared to take a look around, she knew that she'll enjoy the stay here to the utmost. Everything looked and felt like luxury, so noble, precious, and simply good quality! It was giving out such a peaceful comfort and calm that she instantly felt well here, the romantic aspect was not horribly obvious as she (in her mind thankfully) realized, the focus seems to lay on comfort, pampering and simple wellbeing, yay!

In a swift and graceful movement, Shiva cannot help but to sweep one of these fluffy-looking cushions from the ground and allow herself to fall backwards into the bed hugging it, smiling an d sighing in pleasure upon realizing how cozy it was. Hummm!~ It's been quite a while since she was enjoying such luxuries, and it was due time! The red color of the bedding agve everything a warm and almost sultry touch, or so she felt. She couldn't help the amused chuckle that escaped her at that realization. Why someone would need a mirror beside the bed, she didn't know, but now it was there, she'll later brush her hair in front of it just because.

There was enough time for using that hot tub before dinner would start at 8pm, and it was incredibly relaxing although she was just as shy about it and had to almost force herself to not look at these nasty scars of Ven longer than necessary and instead enjoy an iced tea from the minibar. Only now in a due to its simplicity noble black swimsuit that beautifully underlined her curves it was noteable that Shiva was actually rather well-resourced, and if she wouldn't be that coy or nerdy, she could probably melt the heart of every man if she'd start to deliberately ooze some charm, especially of the weak ones. But Ventus was anythingelse than a weak man. (Ven, if you want to outplay anything here at the room or similar, feel all free to do so!)



The robes from the closet were indeed really soft, so Shiva will probably stil wear it when she and Ven headed down for DINNER! Yay! After the room was fulfilling all her expectations, Shiva couldn't wait what specialities the menu will consist of.

.....It had everything she could ask for! <3 She's way too busy determining what dish she'd order, so "Oh... Eh, Ven, what do you want to drink? I'm fine with everything, soft and hard, so I'll leet you decide, alright dear?" As for food...hmm, Clawitzer claw sounds awesome, but she's not in the mood for that, neither for anything lab-grown, so she will end up deciding for a fancy-sounding pasta salad with selected and well-prepared root vegetables from Garlicburg. "Ah! Do you also have something with Rawst Berries for my new white Pokemon?"

Hard champagne was her choice, and Shiva delightfully applauded to that Luvdisc after its performance! Such a skill, and this heartshaped fish was just cute in contrary of all the other fishlike Pokemon that Shiva either didn't like or wasn't interested in at all. After having chinked glasses with Ventus and while they waited for their food, Shiva was curiously mustering that Luvdisc in her fishtank, how it was blowing bubbles within its tank as if this was completely her own world. A few times, she even stroked the glass or touched it where Luvdisv was currently residing as if Shiva was trying to stroke the inhabitant of the tank instead. Eventually, she asked for Cherie to come to them once more. "*cough* So, ehm, I just wanted to ask... That's the particular Luvdisc that can be bought, is it? What other skills to she bear? And....how much was it again for her, 500$, correct?"

"Oh, Ven. You haven't said anything concerning this yet... What, ehm, are your thoughts? Would you be.....fine with sharing the 500$ with me?"

Humm. Unless she'd fall into a numbing depressive episode again, Shiva feels confirmed that this small fish will have it good under her ownership. Plus, it seems to know Attract, and it itches her to suprise a foe with this move!

Slowly, she turned to her male companion of this evening out again. That sweetish smile already forshadowed what she was thinking: "Veeeeeeen!~ CAN we buy it? Maybe? Pleeeeaaaase?"

If he expresses being fine with it, Shiva would provide 300 of the 500$, and pick up that Luvdisc after dinner. Can it be taken to the room in that fishtank to have it in it = not in a Pokeball for the rest of night? (Or phrasing it differently, can it be present when Shiva will hand that plush to Ven and ask the question of questions?)

Ventus looked over the presented menu and drink options, and decided upon ordering the Clawizter Claw with butter and a nice rice pilaf, as he had been in the mood for genuine Pokémon derived meat for quite some time, and wasn't about to let an opportunity pass and NOT enjoy it! He choose sparkling wine as his drink of choice, as he already had his Aunt Roberta from earlier and didn't want to chance potentially overdoing it on the alcohol, as unlikely as that was to happen.

Seeing the Luvdisc brought out and filling their glasses up both surprised and greatly impressed the researcher, and were he not on a date and also not partially drunk he'd probably inquire with the staff how they managed such a feat with the heart shaped fish! Since that wasn't the case, he simply enjoyed its and Shiva's presence as he daintily sipped on his champagne, watching her with unconcealed blissful happiness as she tenderly interacted with the fish.

Therefore, it came as no surprised to the empath when she, after thoroughly questioned Chere about the Luvdisc, eventually turned towards him and giddily + cutely pleaded with him to help her purchase the afformentioned Pokémon. Closing his eyes and covering his mouth to chuckle at such earnestness, he nodded his head and retrieved $200 Poke from....somewhere, placing it in the hands of his most beautiful, charming friend.

"If your wish is to obtain Luvdisc, then I would be happy to help you grant it and more, my dear."
