So, out of curiosity, I decided to look at some of Sharpedo's pokedex entries.  The results weren't all what I expected them to be when I got to the Gen 7 ones...

Moon: It has a sad history. In the past, its dorsal fin was a treasured foodstuff, so this Pokémon became a victim of overfishing.
Ultra Sun: People believe that carrying one of its discarded fangs will prevent mishaps at sea, so the fangs are made into accessories.

Also interestingly, Sharpedo and Hydreigon have the same species name: the Brutal Pokemon.

The Moon entry is actually in line with the Chinese practice of making Shark Fin Soup, so I guess the game designers were trying to make it a more poignant/tragic Pokémon by injecting some real world facts. Don't know WHY they did so, though.

As for the Ultra Sun entry, if its possible to make accessories out of its teeth, is it possible to harvest the discarded teeth from a Sharpedo and Craft stuff with it, like with Corsola Horns and Clawizter Claw meat?

Huh, well whata you know! Maybe they would get along with Azrael in that case? Or would they try to outdo one another?
