Shiva doesn't mind that her male company on that evening out was, by the looks and smell of alcohol that rather quickly filled the room, enjoying the hardest drinks he could probably imagine, and simply keeps lounging there on the bed cuddling her tension away while simultaneously watching him mixing several ingredients together as it was a somewhat exciting day for her - fruitful and filled with sensations and pleasant events, yes, but only now she realized how physically tired she was due to being up and excited the whole day. And the day was BY FAR not over, as it seemed.

She doesn't drink herself though, and was somewhat wondering what may have caused him turning to hard drinks when she knew about his past and mostly about what has happened to his mother... Was this invitation maybe something too hard to take for him? Has she accidently overdone it when her only desire was to spent a pleasant evening, night and morning with this oddball of sociologist...? Was he...interpreting too much into this quality time? ....No. Mentally, Shiva shook her head in response to all these worries and the insecurity that it all brought - If Ventus wouldn't want to stay at this B&B with her or - as she only now realized in the full aspect - wouldn't be at least faintly interested in her as well, he would and could have simply declined her offer, and she'd be here enjoying the stay with her Pokemon instead.

Relatively soon and easily she also realized that this air of tension and nervousness that surrounded Ven was passing, mostly because of that drink she believed? What a suprising but nevertheless pleasant side effect!~ Just when she was pondering more over that and starting to wonder and being fascinated by how he did that, he already closed the distance between them, earning a meek squeak from her. Upon his words that he doesn't mind these nasty scars she still felt somewhat uncomfortable and sad because of them, but she was relieved that it was only her who felt like this about them. She still doesn't want to take a closer look at them though, but now she knows that he wouldn't begrudge her for doing so.

Seeing Ventus so...calm during that dinner felt like the ultimate proof that he was alright and was NOT overdoing it with alcohol, all of that did a fine job to visibly and detectable rejoice her. The 200$ he handed her without asking or even pondering only added to that, she couldn't help to hold his hand and give it a dear squeeze in the means to express some deep thankfulness. ....He'd be 'happy to help you grant it and more', though? Huh... She's not quite sure what he meant by 'more', and replied to that with a somewhat suggestive-confused look for him, before she turned to that Luvdisc again. The blissful joy increased to some degree and her smile only grew as she handed the full 500$ to Cherie! "Can I also burrow that fish tank to have it in the room with us? I'll retrive it tomorrow morning. ....I can? Ayyeee, thank you!~" Shiva will let Azumarill carry the tank, as she and her Huge Power will have no problem with that.


The food was incredibly well and good quality, and rather soon it was time to head upstairs again. Along the way, Shiva still had that delight surrounding her, but the nervousness Ventus has waved goodbye too was somewhat coming to her now. Faintly and subtle, but it was there.

Back in their room, Shiva had Azu place the fishtank on the table beside the bed, next to that phone. She couldn't help that smile for the lovely fish coming back to her as she took a seat on the bed and continued 'stroking' it by letting the tip of her finger run over the glass and a few times even feed it some dried berries, delighted over earning some joyful responses from this Luvdisk. She'll probably register Luvdisk to a Ball tomorrow. "We've paid for you, dear one... I hope you'll enjoy coming with me - us - and make good friends with me and my other Pokemon. I own several Grass Types and even a pair of electric rodents, but they're all dear and loyal to me. No need to be afraid! I won't drag you into battling either since that's not your purpose, maybe only once to see what potential you hold. Alright?" (Does Ludsic react in some way to that, Iron?)

Though when Shiva retrieved that handful of dried berries from her stuff, her hand touched something plushlike that she was well aware of, somewhat impercibly sighing over it while these warm feelings that had nothing to do with Luvdisc per se, but also with... Eventually, she turned her head to wherever Ventus was currently in the room, looking at him almost wishfully, and patting the free space of the bed right beside her. She gave him a coy yet dear response as he did, before she slowly averted her gaze to look at the one hand of hers that was resting on her lap, while the other was still near the fishtank. Eventually, she spoke up to break the silence in a rather sot and quiet tone. "Hehe.... Uhm... Ven, I guess I haven't said 'thank you' to you yet for coming with me. This room wasn't too cheap, but I wanted to be here with you... Can you, well, imagine, why this is so?"

She awaited his answer, looking somewhat timid and nervous yet confirmed, and by all means not 'uncomfortable'.
