Heart suddenly wakes up. He finds himself locked inside the Cathedral, though as the lock is on the inside, this is not really a problem. All the lights are out within the room, except for the living embers of the Pahar. By their dim red light, Heart can see some sort of chalk dust on his hand. All the incense and items in the room have been disturbed, and some have chalk dust on them as well.
Especially all the doors into side rooms have chalk dust on them, and human handprints!
The door nearest to Heart, slightly ajar and leading to a caretaker's room, has writing on it in a sloppy version of Heart's own handwriting. It just says "FRIDAY."
