Shiva's request for a taste of his PBR came as a mild surprise to Ventus, with both his eyebrows partially raised up and slightly widened in a strangely cute manner. Briefly his thoughts turned inwards as he drunkenly debated the merits of sharing his drink and an indirect kiss with Shiva over the potential for her getting drunk herself and taking advantage, until the former side one out on the logic of 'She could handle it!' and, with a strangely solumn nod of his head, passed the glass over to her. "Very well, but just one sip. I'm uncertain as to what your alcohol tolerance is, and I don't desire to see you becoming inebriated on accident. At the very least one of us should have all their wits about them, my dear...."

The coyish kiss on his nose was a completely unexpected move, causing the researcher to momentarily blink and wrinkle the afformention facial feature as he processed the sensation of her lips. Soon enough he snapped out of it with a closed eye mirthful smile and chuckle, but before he could offer his own 'rebuttal' to her affections a finger was firmly interposed on his mouth and her charming yet nervous expression silenced him. Next response from his mystical lass caused him to briefly pout, as he would have liked to cuddle/lavish her with more (PG!) attention, but when she mentioned she had a gift for him wiped the look off his face and replaced it with a wide eyed look of bewilderment.

'Shivahas another present for me, and a handcraft one from the fluff of her own Cottenee no less? I thought treating me to this splendid and romantic night was her gift for all we've experienced together, but yet again my dearest continue to defy my-'

And then his train of thought was abruptly derailed as she retrieved the foil covered Mystery Gift from her bag, unwrapped it, and place it on her lap.

Its was a Reshirim plushie.

Correction: It was a marvelous, expertly made, and exquisitely detailed Reshirm Plushie.

Her meek yet very much heartfelt declaration only added to his shock and awe.

Now, had Ventus been sober and had all his wits about him, all of that would have served to make him a nervous, meek, and confused wreck as he comprehended the sheer magnitude of her feelings for him. Truly, it would have been the most spectacular of reaction, and oddly endearing in a way too.

Drunk Ventus, however, had absolutely none of his sober self's nerves or hang ups about his affections-nay, love for the most blessed woman sitting across from, and was purely honest and straightforward with himself on his desires. He loved and greatly cared for Shiva, and the same could be said in regards to her feelings towards him now. What more was their to think about?

Ven was silent for the longest time, his expression wonderous and awestruck as he contemplated her entreaty.....

.....until he place his glass of PBR on the floor, and reached over to place a kiss on her lips.

It was not an rancous one, or indeed particularly sultry or amorous.

But it perfectly conveyed exactly what he felt for her none the less.

As he broke the kiss, he scooted closer towards her and took the plushie she so tenderly made for him in his arms, giving her a radiate, heartwarming, and loving smile, his eye twinkling with passion.

"Yes, my love."

So mote it be.

Oh. In her curiosity, Shiva must have completely forgotten - or was she secretly aware of it, but didn't mention it nor was it a big deal for her? - that asking Ven for one sip of that drink that emitted such a curious smell of vanilla and coffee liqueur was an concealed request for an indirect kiss, but she was visibly delighted as he nevertheless passed that glass over to her. While he spoke out his concerns, she mustered the liquid inside of the glass in a wondering, pondering expression, and gave him one neutral glance as he finished to express that she heard and appreciated his concerns. "Only one sip, it's the taste that interests me... My tolerance is probably not too high, but that one sip won't make loose my wits, Ven, and we just had dinner so it's not on an empty stomach. No worries!~"

The taste was somewhat sweet due a vanilla undertaste and what she clearly detected as coke, bitter due to the coffee liqueur and harsh due to the alcohol it contained - by the expression she casted as she handed the glass back to him, it seemed like Shiva was intrigued by the taste, but from how determined she handed him the glass back it was clear that she doesn't dersire for more.


When he turned silent and clearly pondered her...request and proposal, she remained completely silent, both relieved and almost proud of herself for having taken this step in the long last, all while not directly facing Ventus and instead opting to stroke over the head of that plush Reshiram. It naturally accepted her caressing without a move or question. Sure, she could have also sold that noble Dragon/Fire Type for a good price, but she didn't wanted to...

Rather soon though, as she was just mulling over what Ventus himself may actually see in her (and not really coming to something she'd definitely label as 'lovable' or 'reason enough'), the sound of a glass being placed on the floor with a 'tock' caused her to look at him again, only to moments later feel his lips softly and sweetly on hers.

That was enough to shock her at the very core, and a split second later cause a wave of the literal size of the one summoned by Surf consiting of warm feelings, care, and even wonder within her.

It ended way too fast for her taste though, and she kept somewhat staring at Ventus as she let him took plus Reshiram directly from her arms and lap, while a delightedand thankful smile of an intesity that he hadn't see on her before developed on her expression, eventually a blush and a chuckle that added a lot of cuteness to her now came along as he gave her that...look and smile. Savouring it for a few moments without resonding in words, the faelike Breeder-Trainer eventually softly placed her hands on Ven's chest where beneath the robe his scars were, only to gently and boldly pushing him backwards until he was laying on the noble red bedding, she joining in that 'falling down' and giving him a soft kiss on the cheek followed by cuddle as if Ventus was the most cuddly teddyursa, half laying by his side and half on him. "So mote it be then." That was all she said before a pleased sigh escaped her and she closed her eyes while simply staying with this oddball of researcher like this. She cannot know how he'll be like when the next morning dawns and he's not somewhat drunk anymore - but Shiva didn't care for that right now.

Several minuted later where the probably only sound was the happy bubbling of Luvdisk in her fishtank on the table, it was Shiva who broke the silence. "Ven.... Do you actually want to go to the bathroom or similar before we'll turn in for the night? Please brush at least your teeth, you smell pretty strongly of alcohol."
