Nathan wasn't really paying too much attention to who else was nearby in the room.

"...what the...Ventus, where the heck did you...*sigh*...nevermind..."

Nathan (and Ralts) similarly tilts his head curiously at Ventus's question, faintly surprised.

"You've seriously never heard of Keni Morgusi?  He's only, like, one of the most respected and talented artists ever.  To the point that there's stories about him making impossible journeys to paint Legendary Pokemon, who would even sit perfectly still for him while he painted."

"...of course, saying it out loud like that...I can kinda see why he might be a bit of a recluse...but my dad told me all sorts of incredible stories about him, even as they got more and more outlandish in concept...the guy is basically a living legend.  His art is just THAT good.  I was hoping to finally see some of it for myself here, but...guess looking for one of those super expensive trading cards is going to have to do..."

Before Ventus could react/respond to their surprised rejoinder, a flash of Insight startled him as their reaction made him realize something crucially was....missing from this conversation causing his face to briefly scrunch up in confused perplextion....

....until he remembered what is was. Or rather, who. His expression suddenly become much more Alert, his eyes now darting around their (his and Nathan immediate surroundings) until they rested on the boy with caution and concern.

"Umm.....Nathan, don't be alarmed, but-" the researcher said in a calm, placating tone....

.....before he was interrupted by the sight of Miss Malphena suddenly materialized right behind the young scholar and Ralts. She had been released during her master's first training session to 'witness the way he issues orders and instructions to other Pokemon' and familiarize herself with his mercenary's partners, and also because he simply wanted to spend some more time with his second newest addition to his family. This naturally lead to him taking her to the museum with him to experience the multi faceted past/present of the region as he carefully explained the meaning behind them, as he thought the more archaic/ancient display would interest a spirit like her (Reaction to the various exhibits for her, Iron?). Quality time well spent forges bonds like nothing else, you know!

Unfortunately, he had been so engrossed with his earlier analysis of the works of art on display that she had grown a little bored and a little put out by the lack of attention- not that she was a prim dona, but losing it so unexpectedly was an disconcerting surprise. So when her master had wander over to the boy and that curious Ralts of his, she with a mischievous smile decided to capitalize on the gold opportunity to 'make a little fun' for herself and him....

....which lead to her hovering right behind the young little boys after carefully sneaking through the shadows, until everyone was distracted enough she could come out without being detected. The banshee slowly leaned forward to nudge Nathan, and when he turned around (presumably).....she decided to give him a darling look/smile and near silent *Eee!* that conveyed the meaning: 'Hello!'

What, though she was gong to give him a bad scare? Nah! She learned her THAT didn't always turn out so hotly when that fae woman summon the star gazer on her, so she decided to stick to more playful, friendly and ultimately harmless surprises instead! Still funny, but no where near as dangerous in her opinion, te he~! That, and she had yet to she their reaction to be truly spooked, so she was curious to she what that entailed, especially from the brave little Ralts....

"-.....Melphena is out, about, and not with me right now," Ventus finished lamely, an apologetic (if ever so slightly mirthful) smile now on his at what occurred. He thought his sister wouldn't try such stunts after last night, but alas he was wrong. Looks like he'll have to give her a sterner lecture about that....

".....Anyway," the empath continued, doing his best to move things on before anything more 'interesting' happened, "No, I'm afraid I haven't heard of this Keni Morsugi. I was never really concerned or particularly enthralled with the Artist scene back in Unova, so I mostly ignored it and everyone in it in favor of continuing my academic and research pursuits. Hearing more about their Legendary accomplishments and talent, I feel that I've greatly missed out on something spectacular all this time..... *Shrugs* Oh well, such is life, full of missed opportunities and untapped potential...."

The sociologist then clasped his hand together and offered them another smile, while beckoning his 'frightening' sister to float back over to his side with a firm look to stay out of trouble/mischief. Well, if Ralts hadn't Hypnotized her by now, in which case she's returned without compliant on his part. You reap what you sow, and what better way than to learn this by becoming an example herself...?

"Regardless, now that you mentioned how superb their artwork is, I'm eager to see it for myself as well, so how about we search for it together later on? You mentioned he did illustrations for training cards and a shop that sells them nearby, so perhaps we'll get lucky and find some example?"
