It was pretty late already when Shiva eventually bid a goodnight to the birthday boy not after honestly thanking him again for this small suprise party and cake, Azumarill herself couldn't help to add to that with a chirp and friendly nudge for him and Ralts before she followed her dear Master.

Actually, Shiva was all willing to turn in for the night, a tad bit suprised yet delighted as Ventus opted that they can gladly share a dorm of the Eastern Pokemon Center as long as the group stays in Cress City. Nothing wrong about as they already shared a bed before several times and never did something happen, neither was it weird or uncomfortable, she herself was enjoying the closure to this oddball of sociologist and the thought to wake up beside a friend. Oh, wait... Now that they where a bit more than friends, Shiva did feel a tad bit nervous about the thought of sharing the bed for the night with him, but she'll probably get used to it rather quickly and won't be subtly nervous anymore tomorrow.

Another reason why she felt the way she felt was the sensation she had while preparing for the night in the bathroom: Ven asked her to talk tonight, something was obviously troubling him. That's why she eventually, to have that off her mind for their both's sake, she opted to sit down on the bed instead of already slide under the covers, waiting for Ventus to join her. When he did, she looked at him awaitingly before speaking up. "Ven, you said...that you'd like to talk about something tonight after 'we've had a full day of respite to acclimate ourselves with our...you know', so what's wrong?"
