The confusion of Shiva after that opening was rather real on the inside and visible on the outside. More out of a habit than consciously, she also reached over to choose a particular Pokeball belonging to her, and eventually summoned Cottonee (which she withdrew from Bill's PC for the night) to hug her dearest Pokemon for succour and security.
