Spiritmon could still summon the T.U.V.E.I. to send the message that way, but you can also choose to 'cut the connection' altogether if you don't want Reiner hearing all of us bicker/expose beyond the fourth wall.

And yeah, if things ever get to be a bit too much for Reiner, I might 'cut the connection'.  Not something I'd do lightly, though...

Lilith isn't exactly a normal person, if that wasn't blatently obvious by this point. Reiner has the chance to ask her/them about their.....reaction to the bad news, if they wish. Whether they answer or not in sastifactory and truthful terms, though, is up in the air.
