You can pass on Hidden Abilities by breeding an HA male with a non-HA female, even if they're not of the same species. Male have a 20% chance of passing HA that way. It's all in Aiden's guide if you want to read that section in particular.

You mean that I'd simply have to mate a female Orchynx with a matching male partner having his Hidden Ability, and wait until a kitten with Overgrow hatches from this combination?
