Pokedex doesn't describe any benefits for Trevenant leaves, but Trevenant will be able to exert limited control over trees now!

Heart then look again to Shiva when she pat his shoulder. He give her a smile than touch her hand. "Thank you again Shiva. For help me and Viktor go another step. I still owe you a lot my friend." Then Heart and Viktor make a bow of respect to Shiva. Even evolve, they still very much sync. "Now problemo, tomorrow we will be ready to go to Mt. Sentry. Also a quick question: The leafs of a Phantump change his cure properties when he evolve to a Trevenant? Just curious."

Eeeek! Out of suprise, Shiva mildly flinched away from Heart touching her by the hand - that's a privilege not many people get and have! But she let's him get away with it this time, knowing that this was a special moment for him. Evolution of a dear Pokemon was always a special thing, naturally. Aww... How somewhat relieving that Heart changed the topic then, more appreciation and thanks could easily make her either get very flustered and allure questions from Ven later about her state, or at worst best earn Heart a very quick hug. "Oh... an Onix? Neat. Please...take good care of it... It'll probably be indeed useful down that mountain." .... "Oh, nope, these leaves are from a Phantump and stay like that, they're independant of Viktor's evolution. Though the alternative practitioner I usually visit once told me that only a Phantump's leaves can be made into almost wonderous medicine if brewing them, then carefully boiling down the liquid over a the period of a day. I'll see what can be made... Maybe - hopefully - Ven can help me on this."


As soon as Heart was away, Shiva does one small thing before she'll continue with her business: Drawing her Almanac and see what it says about Phantump and Trevenant. Have Almanac made research on these Pokemon, what about the myth of Phantump being a child's spirit possessing a stump and the lore about medicine from its leaves?

I know you can do that." Heart give Shiva a confident smile and a positive finger. "Now, I sorry to say goodbye, but me and Viktor have some things to do. We want to give a try in the Ceremony and see what we can do. That will be a good test. See you later." Then Heart give Shiva goodbye and go with Viktor to the exit of the pokemon Center. Lets see what kind of battle today might have....
