Nathan's silent for a moment.
"...would have been nice to know you were only planning on bringing five pokemon max at the start, Valder..."
...
"Heart, the only one of those four I listed that might not listen is Princess, and only if she evolves. None of them are particularly disobedient as is."
...
He clenches a fist in frustration under the table. Takes a moment to breathe and relax as best he can...Rhea's fur really is super soft and comfy...
...
"...fine. Bring Koa. Valder, I'll loan you Starmie (if Frogadier is left behind) and one of the bugs. I'll have to ask Zippy and Princess if they're fine with being split up temporarily. I'll sort out which 6 pokemon I'm bringing of the remaining 8 in the morning. I'd also like everyone to meet me in the lobby tomorrow morning. If you have any pokemon you think might be useful for Ditto to Transform into from memory if needed, bring them. It has to have met the pokemon first to even attempt Transforming into them in the first place. This is particularly important for Delta Onix in particular. If anyone decides to change their lineup a little to accomodate for one of my four extra pokemon, let me know before we leave. I'll go buy that net for the pitons the climbing gear comes with in the morning after we've done that. Good night, sleep tight, and don't let the Cubbugs bite. Come on, Rhea, let's go get some sleep."
Nathan carefully picks up his bag and exits the room, Rhea following after (now able to better keep up with his brisk pacing). Swiftly. It's probably clear by this point that he's able to move much more quickly and fluidly now.
He's sooooo frustrated right now, for multiple reasons. He'll have cooled off by the next morning, though.
Maybe.
