Carrying on down this tunnel, Mr. Finder guides you through some unusual passages, like crevices or vertical passages. The climbing gear makes it pretty easy.

Pokemon are starting to get scarcer. The cavern you're in now is studded with tons of stalagmites and stalactites. Wherever one has fallen down, there is a hole and a twisting tunnel beyond. Mr. Finder says they lead up or down to other layers, occupied by some kind of Pokemon he has never smelled before.

Move Tutoring was a field of Speciality Ventus was hardly well practiced or experience in, but never the less he felt that he had made great strides teaching his darling Malphena Nasty Plot, judging by how she seemed to absorb the Knowledge and proceeded to immediately put it into devious use. 'Well, now I know their's another area of expertise I could switch to, should Pokémon Research no longer prove fruitful or fulfilling!' he amusingly thought to himself, as he watched his archangel and 'horrifying' little sister practice and play to their heart's content. Moments like these would only get more sparse the deeper the group traveled into Mt. Sentry's depths, so he was going to enjoy this camaradence while it lasted! Afterwards, he'd go back towards Mr. Finder and help guard him with Lucifer/Malphena.

Raphael's, while a gentle caring soul at heart, also took great joy in assisting in teaching their banshee of a sister the diabolical art of Nasty Plotting, as they both never had the chance to use it and helping their friends and family out was one of their favorite things in the world to do. Its also an opportunity to bond with their father some more, those occassion seemingly getting rarer and rarer as time went, so they made sure to get their fill of their caring ministrations before going back into their Pokeball. Hopefully they'll be able to spend more time with them in the future, but for now they are content....

Eventually the group moved onwards and deeper into the bowls of Mt. Sentry's Laberyth, the sociologist on high alert for any duplicitus activity or threats that would do everyone harm, while Lucifer glided overhead and scout the way forward, ready to fly back and raise the alarm should he spot anything suspicious/interesting! Therefore upon arriving in the stalagmite cavern, he and his brother  quickly tuned in on the sound of a Pokémon burrowing in the west, ready to pop out do who knows what to everyone? Weighing the opportunity costs/risk of leaving Shiva to deal with the horde of Spinda or leaving Heart to deal with that duo of Gligar whose eyes glimmered with toying intent, he decided they could handle such Encounters on their own in relative safety while he dealt with the burrower, recalling Lucifer and summoning Raphael to help handle them! While not the most optimal choice if the Pokémon turned out to be a Rock or Steel type, he hadn't done nearly anything of note with his beloved first child in a good long while and their coverage should safeguard them against most Types. At least, so he hopes!

Orders: Ventus will go after the Unusual Durant with Raphael, and leave the others to their own devices, feeling they could handle whatever challenges stood in their way! Not going to attack it straight up, though, as I want to try and befriend it a little for Valder's shake, since he's getting it later and I don't want to leave him with an overly Disobedient ant if I can help it! Let's see if we can't make it a cuddle bug or not!

Nathan has to stop for a moment when the group walks past a particular wall.

He thought he saw something that...looked funny.  But it's kinda hard to tell at a glance in this dim light.  He'll have to take a closer look...

"Swiftfire, come over here for a sec...Calam, you stay over there by Mr. Finder.  Ventus, could I see those digging tools real quick?  I think there's something in this wall..."

.....but not before handing Nathan one of his Pickaxes when the requested one! "Here you go, Nathan. If you do find something fascinating, be sure to share it with me and the others , as it might be something worthwhile for all of us to utilize!"
