At one point, Heart hears a clattering overhead, from above the stone ceiling. Further investigation turns nothing up.

A kilometer further down the tunnel, there is a crack in the roof. Directly below the crack is a puddle of light green goo. Three Grimer have appeared and are poking the goo curiously. Doesn't look like they've been here long.

If you want to investigate, someone will have to Encounter the Grimer. However, they are focused on the goo enough that you can skirt right around them if you wish.

...light green goo?  That's...odd...and icky...no wonder the Grimer find it interesting...

"...I'd rather avoid having multiple pokemon and people get poisoned by those Grimer, to be honest...as much as I don't like the look of that crack in the ceiling and that goo, maybe we should save our energy and items...Ralts, can you feel if there's any pokemon just above the ceiling?"

Nope, Shiva's all up to avoid these Grimer at all cost, while not having lost her calm due to that big Durant, she doesn't like these Grimer and that goo they find so interesting at all. Furret's also pained from the Spinda horde, so she can't send him out to investigate on his own either.

Heart look to the Grimers with curiosity and the same time nostalgic. "This kind remind me in our dual battle against the Muk we meet in our journey to Arrowroot Village Nathan. But I agree. I dont have enough Antidote and Full Heal to cure Poison everytime. Lets avoid these Grimers guys. Even I dont have enough guts to face these amoebas (brazilean joke)." Heart release Patrat to follow a alternative path.
