I saw that post yes, and Shiva would appreciate one Heal Pulse for Tropius if it's still legal to use one without it counting as spaming - over the night, he'll retrive lots of HP anyway, but it won't bring him back to full health.

Iron said 3-4 per day for straight up healing moves, Ralts has technically used 2 Heal Pulses so far.  Gustav has used 2.  Both have another 1-2 uses.  Ditto still hasn't used any Heal Pulses, either.

Ralts is best for smaller wounds, tbh.  Gustav and Ditto are much better for the bigger ones.
