Shiva's unexpected hug never caused him to chock on the bit of power bar he was eating, causing him to turn and shot her an admonishing look.....when he saw and felt how out of sorts she was, and promptly abandoned his breakfast for the moment to return it with full force silent affection by twisting around and hugging her too. He didn't know quite know what inspired such a tender reaction from his dearest darling, but whatever the case he was going to do everything in his power to comfort and snuggle the problem right out of her!

Apsis gave a sullen glare at the fae woman approaching and then promptly interrupting their master mid meal, but let out a huff and let it be while she curl up off to the side and watch the two. She didn't approve of that woman in hardly anyway, as she just got under her scalely skin and that she didn't want another female competing for his affections (her sisters non-withstanding this, of course), especially not one that reeked of fairy dust and psychic energies. Unfortunately her master favored them greatly, so she'd have to be tolerant for both their shakes, *Hiiiiiisssigh...........*

That dear hug that Ventus returned was true balm for her soul, delightfully Shiva enjoyed the shared affection. However, it was not enough to snuggle the problem away, but it was more than enough to make her feel better and ready for the moving onwards, further down the tunnel.

Mentally, she was also relieved like nothing that Apsis didn't opt to take a...stronger position over Shiva approaching the cobra's Master, but it was obvious for her that the snake didn't approve her - but if Apsis leaves her alone, she'll do so either, never did she do something to allure Apsis' anger or wrath (aside from that one time during traveling through Mount Sentry the first time of course, thinking back to THIS Shiva somewhat shivered), and she'll make sure that she won't do so if it can be prevented. Still somewhere in that hug, she shoots Apsis a friendly and respectful look, silently trying to tell her that she doesn't desire to 'compete for his (Ven's) affection with her, as she feels that he has enough within his heart for both of them.

Soon, she carefully loosened the hug, ending it with a thankful smile for Ven while keeping eye contact, she seems to desire speaking something out but she struggles to find proper words. All she managed to say was a soft "Thanks.... Ven, I guess I simply was a bit...overwhelmed by waking in this cavern, I'm already missing the daylight a little. I'll come to you when I'm not...feeling too well, as you asked me to long ago." She averted her gaze again, looked down a little embarrased over her random-hugging him. "I'm sorry for interrupting you during breakfast, dear...."
