So, I can salvage the save file itself only WITHOUT having to make any backup for the other game files too? What I meant is that, if my laptop's out of order and I wanna play it at another laptop/pc, I can re-install the Pokemon Uranium game file and then put my current save file that I have from the previous broken laptop into the re-install Pokemon Uranium game file folder to make it work? 

Because it always crossed my mind that it won't work if we take out our save file to play it on a new re-install game program. It's terrifying to think that it won't work for real! Cry Cry Cry

Nah it's designed so that a save file will work on any computer having the game installed.
Phew! Then I guess I better start on backing up my save file every now and then after I've done playing it on the day! It's getting clearer for me now, thank you very much for replying!  Big Grin
