K... @Dragonstrike, after seeing that these stony Pokemon are all willing to knock out themselves and definitely risk a cave-in (they're Rock Type - they likely don't care if the tunnel collapses!) to seemingly protect something valuable for them, I'd really not want to engage in a battle against them. I respect your battle plan, but I'd rather not risk massive damage to us, our Pokemon and Mr. Finder when the Day has just started and it's only our 2nd Day on the trip to seek the Secret Library. What if one of us faints? Then this chara's Pokemon don't know what to do, to me it feels that too many Rolls need to success in order for a safe battle against them will work out in contrary of a Dexterity Roll on Swiftfire to escape safely. I'd rather not deal with the aftermaths of this Encounter, how pleasant and unpleasant they may be when it clearly can be prevented, while you seem all up to engage in a battle against them.
We should be careful and not take any unnecessary risks! Shiva very welll knows that you shouldn't mess with a Fairy Type, and this Carbink definitely is up to attack us. After that talk with Ven, she doesn't want to take a risk here either, I don't know what reasons Nathan has for nevertheless wanting to take the risky way.
Therefor... I'm calling for XP bidding, please. It's the easiest way since none of us seems willing to back out. If I succeed, we escape and have the huge Durant + our other Pokemon dig a tunnel around the Carbink's territory IF the GM can confirm that this can safely be done and we won't meet the Carbink and the Geodude again, regardless how long it'll take. I'd rather keep it safe.
