Look on the bright side: at least you don't have to worry wasting resources on the potentially hazardous fight with the rocky trio, and can dedicate them to other things in the future!

And we wasted an encounter slot doing so.  Entirely.  Followed by wasting two more just to get around the problem.  I screwed it up because I rushed it.  *sigh*

And Nathan's going to feel miserable about this whole thing to boot.

Hey, I was willing to waste an Encounter slot on Durant/Turiel if my negotiating didn't work, and with them, Ditto, and Lucifer it may be possible to shave an Encounter of digging around them if Iron permits. That, and keeping them unfainted and collapsing the entrance to our tunnel will force the Scims to have to brain themselves on rocks and explosions first, weakening them up and maybe even killing a few so that the group doesn't have to handle them! Not all that bad, really.

Considering that it should take in game weeks to reach where we are heading unless I start using Lucifer Tailwind + mounts to speed up party progress (With Iron's permission, of course), so wasting a couple of Encounters every now and them isn't all THAT bad. Since Nathan also has a high DEX pool, he could just take an Extra Encounter or two for himself to 'make up' for tunneling around the Carbink and Geodude.

S'all about thinking ahead and creatively here, mate. We are in for the long haul, both in AND out of Mt. Sentry. We can afford a few stumbles here or there, so long as they don't cripple us to the point of uselessness.
