Morning Sun is a great way to warm up that sweater and thus, the Nincada!

The frost melts away, dampening the sweater a bit. This proves no obstacle to Nincada. The split in its skin grows wider - legs and wings start poking out. Evolutionary light masks the rest, but where Nincada had been is now a flying and agile Ninjask!

The skin of Nincada remains behind. Tiny licks of evolution's light play over the shed, lifting it upright and eventually forming a halo around it. The skin peels aside as it is drawn up into the tunnel Nincada cocooned in, forming little wings. The rare ghost Pokemon slowly phases through the rock, and a pleased humming noise follows its passage in the direction your party is heading. Finally, it fades from audibility.

Ninjask is still buzzing around, however, acting as though it didn't even see the extraordinary Shedinja. Now it will eat right out of Ventus' hand, and spends lots of time practicing its new powers as its wings dry out. 

Ventus gains 2XP.

As the blinding light of Evolution began to cloak Nincada's form, Ventus shielded his eyes and grinned with pure joyous energy, a wave of warm fulfillment filling him for doing his part in helping the no longer gelid insect achieve its Evolution! His original intentions were to discern the mystery behind their condition to sate his curiosity and as a form of distraction away from the group, but now he feels both gratified and greatly cheered up aiding the formerly poor of Bug type, and that his time was well spent indeed!

Not that his wrath over the Scimitar's actions had faded away, though; its just no longer clouding his mind and spoiling his temper, and is quietly shimmering away deep within him, waiting for its intended victims she he can let it all out on them.

However, he was taken aback when the now new metamorphsized Ninjask shell reanimated into the extraordinarily rare Shedninja, his smile morphing into one of stunned shock for the briefest moment, before he shook his head and sprung into action, quickly recalled Lucifer and summoned Malphena and quickly conveyed his orders to her with in hushed excitement!

"My darling ghost, a Shedninja has spawned from that Ninjask's shell and phased through the rock over there *Motions to the spot they disappeared into them* , so I would like for you to follow after them and see if you can't convince them to come back to me, or bar that shepherd them to a location ahead so that I could have the chance to interact with it myself. This species of Pokémon has always deeply fascinated me in many aspects, so I'd like the opportunity to study it more and perhaps even capture it myself if it allows!"

Once his requested was made and subsequently executed by his screaming banshee (who seemed to be also cheered up by her master's upswing in his mood) , the researcher turned his full undivided attention towards the ninja Bug, picking up one of the pieces of jam slathered bread and offering it to them, and was delighted when they ravenously dug into it with a gusto!

"There's that appetite your species is known for! Eat your fill, Ninjask, for I have plenty more food than this small offering!"

After it had a chance to fill its belly and stretch its test its newfound flight capabilities, Ventus decided to call for the Ninjask's attention, first stretching out an arm for it to land alight if it wants and then speaking with it.

"Ninjask, I'd like to congratulate you on your long delayed Evolution, and I'm glad I was able to help you achieve such a monumental feat! Now I have only this to ask of you: would you like to join my family? I'd be more than happy to have you a part of it, and I promise to you that I will care and nuture you to the fullest of my ability. If not, then at least consider accompany me and my group on our journey through Mt. Sentry, as we could use the support of a flighty figher such as yourself, their is safety in numbers, and we'll eventually be leaving for the surface once we accomplished our task. What says you, Ninjask?"

Order: Make the request that it join Ven's family/group, as no way is he going to want to part with the ninja bug after bonding with it a tad so easily! During that time, have Malphena play tracker/herder for that Shedninja, with orders to either convince it to meet with Ventus directly, or herd it to a location out in the open so he can approach it himself. Friendship time, hopefully now and in the future!
