I'm aware of the way people are, but in my years of walking this Earth, I've learnt that if you accept something as it is, it'll never change, but if you treat it as an abnormal occurrence, thus scolding the people who are making "mistakes", you MAY actually get through and make changes happen... Meanwhile, if you keep spoon-feeding people with answers every time they ask, they'll continue to ask without ever trying to find answers themselves...
Or, you can simply ignore them, maybe give an imaginary facepalm, but then move on and don't care about that. Sure, help is given out if needed, but not in such cases.
I've done that for a great deal of my life, but at some point, you just realize you can't fight ignorant by ignoring its existence...
