Emily gives you a bit of a askew glance as you gave her a rather generous summation of that fiasco , as she feels something was off with it judging by your tone and minute facial twitches, but in the end she lets such doubts go and gives you a nod of her head. She knows their more than your telling, but she trusts you have a good reason for not being upfront about it.

"Oh......well, that's......good? At least you two won't be hurting each other anymore, and things can only get better from here. Right, mister?"

She gives you a sheepish yet sympathetic smile as she stares into your eyes, the glimmers of innocence long lost in them, but in their place was a certain measure of strength and honest faith in your abilities. Guess your still a hero to her yet, Reiner.

When you level your next two question at her, though, that smile is wiped away as she lets go of you, pulling the covers close to herself and avoiding your gaze.

"......I don't wanna talk about it. .....Did Mr. Mime tell you to check up on me? Dumb bulter.....I'm fine ......I just needed...needed some time to myself, is all......"

The little miss speaks the first two sentances clearly, but ends up mumbling the other two under her breath as her grip tightens on the sheets.

You don't need to be an empath to tell that things were all sunshine with the smol artist.

"...I sure hope so, Emily...I sure hope so..."

Well, her reaction to his own questions aren't really surprising...

"...no, I'm checking up on you because I want to make sure you're doing okay.  Mr. Mime only told me you weren't in a very good mood after that little chat.  Did Mina say something that offended you or something?  If there's some kind of problem, you can let me know.  I'll do my best to help if I can."
