Well, if we're playing THAT game...

...Reiner's next response is...sterner.

"Hmmm...well, did you have some sort of...disagreement with her, then?  Because another thing Mr. Mime told me is that she's packing all of her things and getting ready to leave at the soonest opportunity.  I'd rather hear both sides of the story than make any assumptions, Emily."

The smol artist flitches slightly at your admonishing + knowing tone, instinctually burrowing into her sheets to try and avoid it. However, between it and the threat of being judged negatively by you, she lets out a great big *Sigh* and began to mumble out her response, choosing to look as cover clenching hands as she did so.

"......I lost my temper when she kept gushing over Archie when we were spending time together. I....stormed out after handing her the letter and......stuck around outside the door to hear her reaction. When I heard her began crying over that goddamn bastard and packing her stuff away......I got really, REALLY mad. So mad I wanted to go in the and....and....hmm. I....ran off to my room and locked myself in their instead. Sketched my Pokémon, screamed into my pillow.....anything to calm down and not want to....to hurt her... "

"......*Silence for a moment, before she continues* Its....its not her fault she likes that bastard, and...and I understand why she wants to leave, but it still hurts that she choose him over....over us after what we did for her.....after learning how he murdered me...."

Tears began to bead at the corner of Emily's eyes, and soon she began to cry as she did her best to stifle it by gripping her covers even harder and trying to clench her teeth and will it away. She doesn't want to show weakness or how upset she was over her former idol actions, and doesn't want to cry over something this trite (to her) that she should have been able to handle after all the stuff she's been through....

....yet still, she ends up crying anyway. Because despite it all, past all that lost innocence, hardened resolve, and fiery temper, Emily is still a little girl at heart. One that had to witness one of her biggest idols fall from grace....
