Weavile quirks an eyebrow at Reiner at his quip, as Asura very nearly raging out of control could be a reference to any number of events that has happened in this past week alone.....until he realized exactly what you were referencing, at which point his expression became as deadpan as your mother's cooking skillet back at home. Oh real rich, partner, bringing up the time he was nearly OHKO by that Punk's Primate just because his fingers were just a little too sticky....

Never the less, you see him subtly take a few steps away from the battlefield, as he doesn't want to take the chance of whether or not the raging ape will see him as a 'non-combatant'. His luck is almost as bad as his master's, after all....

With that small scene out of the way:

The Gauntlet Round 3!

Before the action could truly begin this round, Reiner palmed his favored Key Stone and held it aloft in the air, causing Arbok to glow with the errie black light as miasma briefly surrounded it (and by extension Asura), until it was blown away in a burst of power, revealing Mega Arbok!!! All Attributes Raised by 1, and Petrify triggers, lowering Asura's DEX by 1!

Livid and ever so slightly finding himself intimidated by the now fiercely struggling/raging monkey in its coils, the now hissssing hydra flares its hood and lets out a angry cancophony of noise at them. Then, a sizable bulge appear in an unwrapped part of his sinuous coils as his biological systems worked overtime to produce a horrific amount of poison/venom, with it gradually building in size and his body contract on it to force it to travel up and up an up until it reach his throat/mouth section. His face was distorted in absurd yet none the less unnerving fashion by all the built up toxins swelling that portion up, until he released them all in one great big vile, torrential burst right on the Jungle King!

The self proclaimed emperor of the city was far too filled with ROYAL INDIGNATION at this point to give a damn about following your orders, and somehow was becoming even more angry as they threw up all of him and made him, the ruler of all Celadon City, ILL. Before he did anything, though, he first rummaged through his fur to pull out a Sitrus Berry and devour it whole in one big *CHOMP*, recovering 3 HP and negating the damage of the Gunk Shot!

Afterwards, he pulled back both of his fists back before sending them flying at the slither serpent at speeds almost to fast for the eye to follow, letting out a guttural *RAAAAOOOOR* as he did so!

Seeing that despite her well Wishing that Asura STILL managed to get inflicted with a Status debuff irked her greatly, and so she readily enacted her master will by puffing up their cheeks with water and aerolizing it, before spewing the final product all over her master's side of the battefield!

All of Arial's Pokémon are protects from Negative Stat Reduction from Reiner's side for 4 Rounds! Could have come in handy earlier, but hey, better late than never!

Both chops landed with a meaty *THWACK!* right on the snakes, sending the poisonous python realing as that let out several Pain and furious *HISSSES!!!* from all the heads on its body! Poe, avidly watching the battle on the sidelines (with Ridia no more than a stones throw away), cringed and wilted at the brutally powerful Fighting inflict heavy amounts of damage onto Mega Arbok, before he adorably shook his head back and forth to make themselves brave for their shake, and resumed cheering their frail little heart out to motivate them past the pain!

Mega Arbok manages to push through their suffering for Little Bro's shake, increasing the Accuracy and Damage of their next move by 3 Dice, which it puts the buff to great use by preparing and spewing another:

(Indeed. I though this one would have putrified the monkey, but alas Lady Luck favors his puppeteer once more. Still, he's proving himself competent in the process, so its not that bad of an outcome at all by that perspective.....)

The mad monkey monarch is left sputtering literally and figuratively by that last blast of noxious toxins, his body left stinging all over and back in the state it was from the first time the Move was used on him! If he wasn't already frothing at the mouth from the Poison AND his immense quantities of WRATH, this turn of event definitely would have gotten him started! Still, despite the immense Pain he was in they manage to grit their teeth and barrel on through it by at that moment drawing on the Will Power of their 'master', aiming yet another pair of crushing blows into the snake!

Against all odds Asura was managing to hold his own against the colossal cobra, but for each pound of flesh he took in his fury the snake took a hefty chunk of his own in exchange. Pushing himself to the utter limit to continue his near mindlessly assault, the only thing keeping the royal rabble-rouser going at this point was all that ANGER burning with him like a raging Inferno. At this point about the only thing that would get him to just stop if either he brutalizes Mega Arbok to the point of unconsciousness, or he was!

(Un)Luckily for him, the hissing hydra was MORE than happy to oblige and return their tempermental attack with near equal ferocity after that last Cross Chop, as it caused their entire body to writhe and convulsed in agony as the paired strike managed to badly bruise its hood! However he did it, the managed to force down his Pain and raised his body to loom over the punitive primate, every single one of his heads glaring at them with such contempt and spite that both Reiner and Arial could feel themselves stiffen in response. Accompany such a gesture was low menacing *hissing* being issued from each head of the hydra in perfect harmony that underlined just how fed up he was of being wailed on by a stupid angry monkey with pretension to authority.

Altogether, it sent a pretty clear message to everyone present: Enough was ENOUGH!

To back up that strong sentiment, the venomous viper once more built up a large volume of incredibly effective poisonous slurry in his body, before upchucking it straight onto them!

(3)(3)(2)(1)(1)(6) Unfortunately, they immediately turn to sabotage the snake, as miraculously? Asura managed to tank that hit and managed to come out of it completely unscathed! Maybe Mega Arbok misjudged the type of poison he was making and botched the move for the get go.....?

EVERYONE in the room is surprised by this turnabout, most of all the afformentioned Jungle King and the Lord of Serpents! The later is could only blankly stare off into space after that epic failure, as one of THE most powerful Poison type moves in existence somehow didn't do any damage to the monkey despite having done so before. He was really beginning wonder if this week was just plain cursed/hates his guts, or if his master/Weavile's atrocious luck was finally rubbing off on him....

The former, however, was so stunned/shocked by not taking damage from Gunk Shot they regained their lucidity, their anger no longer overwhelming the regal primate's mind and dulling his keen intelligence. All the Pain, tiredness, and sensation of nausea from being Poisoned, now undampened by his previously explosive temper, crashed down upon him with compounded interest, causing his eyes to bug out as he wince and realize how horrible he felt. This caused him to spend the last of his Action thinking over his current situation/status.....and the results of that pondering produced several facts that left him feeling VERY much worse for wear.....

His Thoughts:
- He was currently Wrapped, Poisoned, near exhausted, and was in incredible Pain. He was in bad shape, to sum it up nicely.
- By the end of this Round, at best he would be left hanging on by threads, and at worse he'd plain Faint from residual damage from his previous conditions.
- Assuming he did survive the round, he would have endure yet another barrage of attacks made by Mega Arbok before he could wear them down, who would no doubt recover from their dazed state in mere moments and double down on him with a vengeance.
- Even in the unlikely event that he somehow managed to WIN against his opponent, he would be left in such poor condition that he'd be easy pickings for the next Pokémon Reiner sent out.
- If Alomomola managed to patch up most of his injuries with a Heal Pulse/Wish in time, however, he'd probably slip into RAGE mode again and start act supremely reckless, leading him back to where he is now: screwed.

With all those negative point weighing down on his mind and the outlook of this battle looking about as grim as his opponent, Asura came up with the only course of action that made sense AND garenteed that things don't further deteriorate for him. It caused him to grimace in distaste, and threated to flare his tempers back to full at the mere thought of doing that, but it was either doing that or most likely being utterly destroyed, and he would rather swallow his pride and do that than needlessly suffer in hopes for a long, long shot at victory.

So with a sense of resignation about him, the Jungle King crossed both arms above his head and bowed his head in Surrender to Mega Arbok and Reiner. He'd probably get an ear full of it from his retainer later, and the shame of forfeiting and submitting himself lesser than a mere snake would burn him up from the inside out for a long time yet to come, but he could not in his right mind continue to fight for what he thought was a lost cause. Better to retreat, learn from your failings, gain wisdom, and grow stronger from all it than to heedlessly doom yourself to a decision that would cost you far more than any worth could be glean from it....

Given his Empathy and knack for understanding a Pokémon's intentions rather well, Reiner could instantly tell that Asura was sincere with his desire to forfeit the match and ordered for his Mega Arbok to let them go, which the snake did so with mixed reluctance/smug delight (They so wanted to Faint them for all the Pain and indignity they forced upon him, but seeing him slink away to lick their wounds WAS sastifying to see) after they regained their bearings. Once that happened, the monkey monarch staggered over to Alomomola's side and settled down by their side to let their Healer aura cure them of their Poisoning and slowly regain the HP, and let her tend to him during what little downtime she had for such attention. During this time (the rest of the match), Asura Disobedience will be 5 and he would refuse to go back into his Pokeball, as he wanted to watch how the rest of the match between his retainer and Reiner so he could learn more from it and become a wiser king in the process. Such was the will of the Jungle King, and he would not be swayed in this whole matter....

All things settled, it was time for Reiner to choose their next course of action for The Gauntlet, and for Arial to send out a new Pokémon to take over where Asura left off. What will both choose to do?

Guess we'll find out real soon, won't we!

After such course of events, Arial could only watch in awe when he see Asura survive that last Gunk Shot perfect safe. This was the second time today Asura have survive such almight and powerful move against enemies. First be the Explosion from Delta Muk. And now one of the most powerful Poison moves ever know. Arial begin to doubt if Asura its indeed a true asura, might powerful demigods, equal do titans in the old myths.

Func fact: In budhism, a Asura its a demigod, in a certain way equal to titans, from Kāmadhātu (the world or universe of desire).They have three heads with three faces each one with four or six arms. The word means "Antigods".

Arial was quite surprise when he see Asura fortreit the battle himself. He is in a certain way relief to see the rage of Asura be contain. He get a little to Asura than talk once more. "You know. Is need guts to continue to fight against strong foes." Then Arial smile and close his eyes for a second. "But its need bigger guts to stop fighting. You did a incredible battle back there Asura. You do a wise decision in a fortreit the battle and I not blame you for that. A king sometimes must stop to keep fighting in the next day. You are becoming a wise king Asura, and I proud of you." Then Arial give Asura a weak punch in his shoulder. "I do the rest from here buddy. Leave the rest to me." Arial give Asura a positive finger. "I feel honror in fighting alongside with a incredible king like you."

Then Arial look again to Reiner. "Well, thats 1x1 for both of us Reiner. Guess that draw at least for now. Like you say yourself, this battle is far from over." Then Arial prepare himself to bring his next pokemon.
