He stared at everyone briefly, agasp and in disbelief, and for a moment he thought the shock he was in and the gas in the air was making him experience vivid illusions. But when he took a deep breath of pure air and blinked furiously to find that they were still there.....

.....he swept both Ralts and Raphael into a great big hug, his body violently shaking as he resisted the urge to further breakdown and start sobbing in relief.

Though his ears were still ringing and couldn't hear himself, Ventus still said aloud: ", I-I don't-t how-w or-r why, a-and I-I f-frank-kly do-don't give an I-iota of a d-damn, b-but b-by th-the Tao Trio I'm so glad to see you all."

...it's such a relief to see Ventus is somehow okay.  Nathan continues to stay silent for now, though.

...Ralts doesn't stop hugging Ventus, however.
