I don't think anyone having gone through a campaign of this size is truly inexperienced, and Dragon has played D&D before this.
I definitely think that's a decent suggestion.

I agree, it is a different experience. That's why I want to give it a shot. Only way to know if I can do a half-decent job and how much I might improve is to give it a try!
But again, we're still a loooonnnggg ways away from my campaign. I've got lots of time to prep for it.
