@Spiritmon and @Dragonstrike
On one hand, Arial has in character justifications for growing pissed off at Reiner, as they have put them up to a challenge they are only barely struggling to win, and that's only because Reiner is deliberately holding back, changed the rules of engagement suddenly on them after revealing a new move that is Singe Battle legal (if cheesy as hell), AND ended up frying two of Arial Pokémon by acting unwisely......
.....but on the other hand, the way he lashed out at Reiner was not only unwise in of itself, but also borderline SUICIDAL given how touchy such topics are that even an unenlightened madman such as he should know not be wielded lightly, let alone the way he weaponized it against them. He also should have known that while Reiner does go into dangerous situations, its only after fully preparing for them or if its practically dropped in his lap, and that for those times they have greatly benefited from the outcome of those conflicts. Additionally, the bodyguard has done and made MANY mistakes/bad decisions during his time in their employee and caused a lot of trouble for himself and them too, so he shouldn't exactly be throwing stones here.
Finally, what Reiner did with the Electric Terrain was at worst an idiotic/uninformed accident that he could easily fix by calling a ceasefire until the Rain and/or Electric Terrain dissipates, and recompensate non-'legal' damages done easily if Arial didn't run his mouth off and incite them. Now that he's pissed/letting himself be pissed, he's not going to be thinking all to rationally besides 'what's the best way to slowly CRUSH that stupid bodyguard of mine as punishment....?' , instead of using the battle as a test/stress relief/learning discipline.
Oh, and if he had Kingdra out and I had the presence of mind to remember her main character trait, she would have attacked you with a Draco Meteor that would have been barely restrained into being non-Lethal. THAT would have no doubt either ended the match, or made things all the more difficult for him to continue.
I'm not saying your wrong to have you character react with anger over what happened, though, Spiritmon. I'm just saying that doing it the way you did is going to cause him and Reiner more problems than not, and that you could have handled it a little better. Same goes for you, Dragonstrike: Reiner was fully within his rights to lash out at Arial, but he could also have realized easily with his empathy that he's only reacting that way due to the mounting stress of the battle and the literally SHOCKING outcome of that last Round and handled it more......restrainedly.
Point is, I think you guys need to take a break from the Game Thread for the rest of the night and maybe even the next day to cool off, before going at it again with a clear head. I rather not IC conflict to spill over to OOC conflict anymore than it has that I have been condoning already, alright mates?

Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
