Sensing that the young scholar had quickly fallen into a dreadful (and understandable) state of shock, Ventus briskly walked over to him and gently place a hand on their shoulder while also quietly summons his child Raphael by his side to help comfort/re-balance them, which the archangel was more than eager to lend a helping wing by radiating his signature calming aura!

"Nathan......" he says delicately, so as not to startle or incite any panic/reactionary hostility from them.

"We need you here with us, so please, calm yourself. We'll be reunited with all our Pokémon, no matter what, so have faith and remain strong......"

Nathan flinches slightly anyways.  Shivers quite a lot.  It's not just the cold that is getting to him now.  Even Swiftfire's warmth can only do so much.

"...I...I h-have...t...t-to f-find...R-r...R-ralts..."

Well, it's a response...he looks about ready to charge off after Heart, too...though he doesn't.  Even though he doesn't mention Solomon or Zippy in that brief moment, he's obviously worried about them too...but Ralts wandering off is quite a lot more...impactful.

As soon as everyone's ready to start looking, Nathan will definitely snap into action.  In fact, he looks at Ditto and Calam briefly.  Ditto's a dog pokemon currently, right?  Maybe it can put that nose of its to good use as well?  Maybe Calam's Future Sight would also come in handy?
