Ven tensed and clenched his fists when Apsis briefly became a purple snakesicle, but then his scowled turned into a viscously triumphant smile as she broke free and (after a probing strike) clamped right down on the mock Mothra and ignited them let a piece of dry tinder, subsequently Burning them and the last of its consciousness away! Only when he managed to capture the icy insect and sent it off to his PC did Ventus took a deep breath and let it out with more of a heave than a sigh, releasing himself from the hostile apprehension/wariness that had swaddled him like a warm blanket.

Of course, doing so made him acutely aware of just how frigid and funky his current local was, causing them to grimace in discomfort as he quickly paced over to his slithering sister to both check/fret over the extent of her injuries and share their body heat with her by cuddling her mid-section. Both activity she very much appreciated, judging by the rare tender smile she grace him when he wasn't looking. She loved it when her master doted and cared for her (though most of the time she was too proud to so overtly show it), and while the circumstance that lead to this intimacy were........intolerable ,she was blisteringly cold AND aching all over, she was still was able to appreciate and enjoy this small moment with her master. Especially after being forced to endure the sight of him practically cuddling that fae woman during their ride here; this was a much needed pick me up from that and that AWFUL battle with that bastard of a Bug, *Hiiiisss!*

Swiftfire should be able to warm us all up from that moth's flurry of Blizzards , and maybe Heart has returned to the group so we can have Gustav patch up both you and your sister's injures, assuming no one else was serious hurt in this stretch, of course," the researcher said after he finished his inspection and found that his poisonous python was ailing overall, but still able to function enough to defend herself, patting her side with careful fondness (since the Blizzard has left her scales frosted and especially sensitive) before motioning for her to follow him back to where they came. 'Hopefully the rest of the group has managed to cope well with the dangers present here, or I have more work ahead of me yet......'

Order: Go back to the meeting point for this Encounter List and await the others! If Heart is back, might I request medical aid for Apsis with just one Heal Pulse for her? Malphena can simply stay in her Pokeball until she fully recovers, and when Lucifer re-joins with Ventus (and gets a very stern lecture for flying off without his permission) he'll have enough Pokémon to cover for her absence for most of the day!
