Dragonstrike's interpretation of the rulebook is what I have also been using, as it pertains to recalling.
Ventus could hold onto Raphael for one round to get out of range...he's gonna lose the soles of his shoes though.
Tropius can't really take advantage of Raphael in any way. He's just too big.
