[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins

I'm not exactly to sure why Insight isn't used over Dex for that, as I though having more wisdom/intuation would contribute to saving a person more than simple physical action , but eh, the designers must had a good reason for that decision that I can't think of.

We could always just use Hurt Loam to revive Calam, and then Max Potion him. I think getting hit by a Super Effective Legendary Move is justification enough to use that on him!

I'm already thinking about how much Nathan is going to emphasize this medical stuff.  He's a little out of his depth right now, but gosh darn it, he's gonna try anyways!

The Dex part is likely due to treating serious wounds being a veeerrryyy delicate job.  Your hand slips once, and you just might make the problem worse instead of better.  Knowledge is the assessment of the wound and how to treat it.  And Medicine is probably where the specialty, general, medical specific knowledge comes in.

Could do.  He'd probably REALLY appreciate it, too.  He'd probably also understand if we didn't heal him to full (seeing as the supplies would still be helpful later, and he's a survivalist at heart).  He did only take 1 Lethal damage, after all, so as long as the problem doesn't immediately get worse...a simple Potion/Sitrus Berry on both Calam and Lucifer to heal the Lethal damage would do the trick to fix 'em up for the most part mechanically.

BTW, I just had another thought concerning Ditto: Wide Guard.  That'd protect people from EQ and Bulldoze too if needed.  EQ would still hurt a LOT (5 + 4 + 1 - 3 is still 7 D6 before Defense is applied...), but Yule's Bulldoze wouldn't be able to touch anyone aside from lowering their Dex (and as long as the mounts still have their base Dex value, it's fine if the humans are a little slower)
