Unown doesn't mind being drawn. It begins to emit a faint glow when your drawing starts to take shape. When your drawing is done, it stays at that brightness until you put your journal away.

Well, since it's glowing right now, how does Unown react to Nathan taking a picture of it with his pokedex?
That doesn't seem to have the same effect. No change in brightness. The photograph takes, and Unown doesn't really react much.
