Durendal is actually visibly surprised to hear that THEY had the potential to Evolve, as knowledge and sightings of them in wilds of the Tohjo region are almost unheard of due to the distinct lack of Razor Fang/similar substitutes to act as a catalyst for the species Evolution. Its only in recent times (vaugely a few decades ago or so) when internationalism and open borders between regions became common place, so only well seasoned/knowledgable Trainers , world wide travelers, or those especially well read know about Pokémon not native to their region. Which obviously excludes most Pokémon not clued in in general, though their are always exceptions to the norm.....

The scorpiobat swiftly recovers from their shock and starts vigorously nodding and dancing in place, as the though of becoming EVEN BETTER just tickles their fancy to no end! However, getting a Razor Fang wasn't going to be cheap, since they are just as rare/valuable as Weavile's Evo Item, which you have since looked up to be roughly $5000 Poke. If you got them in region where they were more 'common', $3000 Poke would be the average price there.

Your feline thief rolls his eyes at that sourpuss response, before Snatches your cap and places it on his head and gives you a challenging smirk. If you were going to be down in the dumps, well he's just going to riffle through you things one bit at a time, and messing up all that careful organization you adore so much! Hehehehe!

"...yes, you can indeed evolve.  I didn't know my dark feline friend over there could evolve either until...maybe roughly a year and a half ago, if I'm remembering things correctly?  Regardless, I did a little looking into that after he evolved, and it turns out Sneasel and Gligar both evolve with what are known as Razor items.  In Sneasel's case, a Razor Claw makes them evolve into Weavile.  And in yours, a Razor Fang will enable you to evolve into Gliscor.  Though you have to hold on to the item for a decent amount of time for it to take effect, normally...anyways, I also found out those items are expensive even in regions they're more common in.  Going price around here is probably around $5000, Arial.  Maybe more, depending on how much the Merchant decides to charge ya for it because of its exclusivity.

"...already attempting to fix things and start them on the path of getting better, thankfully...but the chances things will ever be the same...well, they're next to none, frankly...damn the Elders and their stubborn old ways...they don't even know how much this war is costing them...if they even care in the first place...their actions have certainly cost me and those I know far too much..."
