Ridia starts to *puuuurrrr* as you scratch THAT spot in particular, before she stops with an briefly aghast expression, as if embarrassed she made such a noise. What in the....?! No, she is not some pansy domesticated Eevee that just melts at the touch of a human, but a wild, fiercely independent fox that has survived on the streets of Celadon ever since she was born! She's a sleeping dragon to be, not some simpering house pet!!!

Never the less, she still enjoyed it despite her vehemence to the idea. Talk about being at odds with one's desires!

Your original partner in crime lets out a raspy chuckle along with you, happy he was able to restore some amount cheer to you, but immediately mirrors your frown as you wax dismally about those old withered crones that ruined their lives. He punches your should a bit harder this time to snap you out of it/get your attention, before he clenched a paw and pumped it in front of you with a downright wicked smirk. Well, part of the reason why they stuck with Team Rocket was to exact some good old revenge and change on those hidebound fools of Blackthorn, so you're now closer to ever than achieving that goal, eh? If not that, then take heart and a little spiteful joy in the fact that The Elder's draconic exile ended up making you into a far bigger threat to there stupid ideas than they could possibly envision, and are forced to acknowledge your prowess and might despite wishing you just ceased to exist! Too little too late for that, though, for they'll be coming to teach those old fools a lesson they'll NEVER forget: Don't mess with Reiner Arendse! Isn't that right, partner?

Ridia putting a halt to her purring gets a good laugh outta Reiner.  "Nothing wrong with Dragons enjoying a good pampering, ya know.  Ya didn't hear it from me, but Arbok loves it when I rub the back of his hood.  Only do that when we're in private, though, of course.  Gotta keep up his tough guy appearance and all that, hehe.  Oh, and don't worry, your secret's safe with me.  My mom's Eevee reacts the exact same way when scratched behind the ears, hehe.  Little guy hates it when she does it to him in public."

Weavile knows that Reiner's referring to when the Elders took the Dragon Scales, followed by Lucy when they went to retrieve the items. [Fun fact: if they hadn't taken the purple Dragon Scale that Jeff shed along with the normal one from Reiner's own Seadra, none of Reiner's tragic story in this campaign would have ever happened.]
