This is also a good opportunity to ask whether in this particular case of using the TM Library  it remains true that the '?' moves is available for the whole evolutionline, @Iron - for example, whether I could teach an Espurr (not Kyuu) Shock Wave although the move's solely on Meowstic's list. Please tell me it DOES remain true, because otherwise I completely need to reconsider my choices...

I believe Iron already confirmed that ? moves carry through the whole line provided the pokemon can learn the move in the games.  (Spirit was asking about Thunder Punch when Rose evolved iirc)

For example, every member of the Chimchar line can learn Thunder Punch and Fire Pledge, but only Infernape can learn Blast Burn.
