Deep Mining in Creshire's Post-War Economy - 1935 - Tork Roark
"...the copper and zinc mines north of Borealis Road, and the nearby smelters of brass, were nearly shut down in 1919 due to poisonous emissions and radioactive signatures. It was thought the thick stone walls would prove sufficient shielding, but in 1928 they were torn down by a vast 'monster' arisen from the depths of the mines, perhaps some kind of evil and darkness-loving Pokemon."
"...Scientists lend little credence to the myths that the oblong pillars in the mines were once Pokemon or even people..."
"...foreman Stheno is on record saying the vein of purple and black stone is of no value and the mines will not be reopened...unknown minerals...no known uses."

Ventus also finds a somewhat relevant book, completely by accident. He just puts out his hand and finds a cover so interesting he has to explore more.
It has no title, but the cover is made entirely of metal. The entire front is taken up by an embossed dragon - a stylized Reshiram.
Many of the pages have been illegibly smudged by Acid (all the text is engraved onto metal pages).
