 Valder smiles, thinking of how long he's known Theo, "Well, that's quite an evelution. How do you feel, Theo?" Valder stands up to face Theo who can now stand face-to-face with him. "Up for a hug, like we did long ago?" Valder says happily while reaching out his two arms. "Know that I will forever be happy to be your friend, regardless of form".

Yes, he will still go by Theo to you. Unlike Ponyta, he's not able to turn his fire on and off, so you have to watch out for his cape while hugging him. But once you get in close enough to hug his steely body, it feels comfortingly warm.
