 Raijan stared at you when you brought at THAT unpleasant fact to his attention, and didn't do anything else for several minutes. Finally, when you thought he wouldn't do much of anything at all , he slowly nodded his head , eyes still half lidded and apathetic , but his arms now hanging loosely by his side, and claws clenched tightly. If he's put into such a hellish situation, he'll give it his all , as no matter how lazy and unmotivated he was, he did NOT want to die. 


Then, in an uncharacter display of emotion from the lightning lizard, he crossed his arms and cocked his head at you, giving a warning look that left nothing to imagination. If he's summoned, and he goes all out.....things were going to get bad for anyone but himself, and FAST. If you thought his performance under Archie's command was something, the seeing him actually putting some effort into his attacks......that something truly terrifying.

"Good.  Exactly what I'd expect to see.  As I said though, last resort.  I'd rather not put anyone in unnecessary danger.  Thank you, Raijin.  That's all I really needed from you for now.  Glad to hear you're doing okay.  Get some rest and be ready for tomorrow."

Time to recall Raijin.

Reiner just sits in the room for a moment afterwards, stroking Ridia as she's napping.  Thinking.

...well, suppose he better talk with Yang too before turning in for the night.
