His stance widens as his legs grow. Hair, fringe, and horns all shrink in. His height increases, and the single horn takes the place of the two horns. Like a wound, Gallade's characteristic red edge sprouts from his chest and back. The blades on his arms are the last to appear, even as the light fades. He tests them experimentally, and bows to those assembled to watch his evolution!
His mode of movement is still fluid and graceful, but now much more martial. Gallade can still be ceremonial at times.
While testing those newfound blades of his, one of them glows with a green energy, and one with a black energy. Gallade gives 'em a few test swings. One tears at the darkness, and one almost seems to leave a trail of leaves...
Gallade has learned Night Slash and Leaf Blade.
His gaze also seems much more focused, much more...piercing. A stalwart, stoic gaze that looks unshakeable.
Gallade has also learned Leer. His Ability is also now Steadfast!
But most of all, he is still the same pokemon at heart. One who loves to dance, one who admires his Trainer and Best Friend...
...and one who will fight to protect what they both hold dear. He still has his fears...but now he can face them. Ghosts, Steel...he'll take 'em on. He's not a scared little Ralts any more, no longer is he a Kirlia who can't effectively fight what scares him the most.
Now, he's a Gallade. And with Steadfast Justification and Inner Focus, he shall proceed onwards.
...but first, there's one thing he wishes to do. Gallade nods at Nathan, then looks at Valder and Theo. It's about time he decided on his own to face his biggest fear...
"Well, would ya mind getting a little practice sparring in with Gallade, Theo? This seems like a good chance for the both of you to practice your swordplay now that you've both evolved. Particularly since you're much more experienced with those sharp edges of yours and less likely to accidentally harm someone, and Gallade can't possibly harm you even if he messes up."
Think we can squeeze in a quick training session for Theo and Gallade so they can both get used to their new forms in mock combat, @Iron?
