(By the way, how did Ventus react to Juliet's dramatic reveal during the dancing?  Maybe he's not completely surprised, but I doubt Ventus ever expected to see an Illusion user besides the Zorua family, right?)

There is also one more thing.  That little bit about defending what he and Nathan hold dear?  Every current member of the group falls under that.  And even one past member.  Vincent, Heart, Valder, Shiva...and yes, even with the current...mixed bag of emotions Nathan has to deal with right now, even Ventus.

Gallade fixes Ventus with a good, long stare to communicate that.  There are some things they still struggle to deal with, yes...there are some things that they still want to help Ventus overcome if he'd only let them...

...Nathan wants to help Ventus be someone Cynthia can be proud of.  And neither he nor Gallade have fully given up hope on that front yet.

That's what Gallade wishes to communicate (as Nathan cannot at the moment since he still can't decide if he actually wants to say goodbye or not).  As a Kirlia, that would have been a nigh impossible task, as he would have been far less able to cope with the hurricane of emotion he was experiencing.  Now, as a Gallade, he's able to withstand it all and be the solid rock, the immovable pillar, that Nathan truly needs.  Well, one of them, at least.  And no matter what he feels around him, he'll now be able to react to it accordingly without being overwhelmed.  He has no need to ever shut off his empathy and ability to read a foe's actions.

Gallade then closes his eyes and heads over to Nathan.  Unfortunately, today is not the day they'll be helping Ventus.  Nathan needs his assistance more than Ventus does right now.

To Malphena, Gallade levels both a thankful gaze...and a serious stare.  He and Nathan fight as one.  One of Gallade's arms glows with Dark energy for a moment.  He may not be a dark type, but Ghosts better watch out should they ever rub him or Nathan the wrong way.  But he holds no Grudges against Malphena for the time being.  And is also completely unfazed by any further hijinks from her.

To Raphael and Lucifer, Gallade and Nathan simply give them hugs backs.  These two definitely hold the fondest memories...

For Aspis...well, Gallade simply gives her a respectful, thankful nod.  Nathan does pet her head for a little bit.  Gallade simply 'watches' calmly, blades sheathed and eyes closed.  There won't be any arguments tonight.

And to Abaddon...well, Gallade chuckles and gives the blue punching bag a good ol' slap on the back.  He's not forgotten how Abaddon shut down those walking stomachs back in the swamp.  Hah!  That was a hoot and a half to watch!  Michael gets some good ol' guy time too.  Ya know, the usual works for fighting type pokemon: friendly competition!

Once the goodbyes are all said and done (and potentially a quick spar with Theo so Gallade can get used to his new fighting techniques), it's back to the Pokemon Center with Nathan.  He heads to the PC and grabs Orthros and Forthright.  His dear, dear friend that he's missed oh so much over the past week or so and did his absolute best to try and hide that fact...he needs to spend a little time with the dream doggy.  Maybe that will help him calm down enough so he can actually get some sleep tonight...there's just something...calming in that puppy-like innocence he's come to know and love.  

And Forthright is also probably very happy to finally be out of the PC after so long.  Yay!  She can spend some more time with Nathan again!  ...but who's the weird tall pokemon that's with him now?  He's kinda scary looking...(it might take her a little bit to get used to that...)

(No mention of Viktor trying to be friendly of Gallade :C Now he sad...)
