Interesting can of worms you're opening there, @Lord Windos.  So what's the idea behind what is and isn't allowed here, if I might ask?

*Shrugs* I considered triggering Abilities, coaching Pokémon to do certain things without further prompt, and switching/giving Items and teaching moves fair game, and left things flexible and acceptable under that 'No Direct Attribute Boosting Moves' . If you want to challenge it, I suggest doing it on the battlefield, as Terra will allow one of your Pokémon to buff themselves in exchange for accidently breaking the spirit of combat 'unintenionally'.
