Huh? From what I read, the move have a base damage of STR + 1, with + 1 Damage Dice being added (up to a Damage Roll of STR + 5) for every 50 kg Basteele weighs over her opponent, and given that most Pokémon are nowhere near as heavy as a Forrestress that means it does bunches most of the time! Snivy would have been smooshed by Heavy Slam, for example!

In that case, I would think even stoic Gallade/Nathan would be somewhat impressed with such Strength and cluelessness, but eh.

Whoops.  Derp.  Think I subtracted 100 kg from its weight somehow.  Nevermind!  Still not super great, but much better than what I originally thought.  (I'm just not having a good time with metric units lately.  Maybe I need to stop trying to do math with metric units when I'm tired...)

Impressed, yeah.  Gallade's personality is a lot of 'doesn't really outwardly react', though.  There's gonna be a lot more reactions from Nathan once the battle is over.
