If I allowed Hypnosis, I would have permitted Status Healing Items and the 1 time use of a Healing Item on a Pokémon, and Terra is stacked with Awakenings + would have set Electric Terrain to prevent Sleep shenanigans entirey AND has a Max Potion, which would have been saved for Lovely if they got seriously wailed on due to bad dice luck.

Yeap, I came totally prepared to cover Terra's weakness, and saved Lovely (Who is a BOY) for last just in case Dice Luck decided to be a bastard, which it was sorta. I wanted this to be fun, but I also don't want to lose to you AGAIN, so I'm not pulling my punches anymore. Fair warning!

Stranger things have happened.  Mostly in the Celadon Campaign.  Never know!

Ah yes, Electric Terrain.  Even with that or Misty Terrain in effect, though, you're still not entirely safe from Hypnosis and other status inflicting moves  Wink  Provided I still have the move slots to pull off the combo that bypasses those entirely, that is.  The only way you're truly safe is if you're outright immune due to an Ability, the Grass type, or Safeguard. Tongue

I think pulling a Milotic on me just for that purpose is a bit much though, don't you think?  I stand by my reasoning on how imbalanced the HP scaling is for the huge/incredibly long pokemon.

True, but Imma still going to have to leave and cool down for awhile if they DO happen.

How so? I thought....oh. Telekinesis and then your Status inflicting move of choice, right? Yeah, that would work. Still have PLENTY of Awakenings and other Status Healing Items, though, so I'm covered from that combo!

Oh, I totally agree, but considering that when I started to hold back even a little and make deliberately poor Move choices for my Pokémon you started to pound me HARD, I don't feel THAT bad about it. I personally love the HP scaling system, as they end up creating plenty of easy but still doable Boss Pokémon to use in games (Unlike Legendaries or Plot Device fueled Pokémon), and its just nice having one as a safety net.

That, and given as we've seen from Iron, having High HP doesn't mean you are invincible by any means. Not by a loooong shot.
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
