Welp, step one though: getting out of bed.

"...gah...Kyuuubiiii...this is not a good time..."

If she's literally on top of him, not much choice but to try and shove her off (ideally onto the other side of the bed).  Failing that, he'll probably just outright try to summon Kingdra and have her switch her Ability to Damp.

When you've got an incredibly important phone call to make, you definitely aren't going to let something as silly as this get in your way.  (But FYI, Reiner won't be making this call from his phone.)

Well, how was she to know you would be getting the number to your first flame in an beyond improbable pseudo Dream World event? That, and she was asleep when she rolled on top of you, so its not like she planned to minorly inconvenience you....

Those ironic facts aside, you didn't even have to shove her off, for the moment you rest a hand on your shoulder to do so she automatically rolled off to you and onto her side of the bed, her rest completely unbroken as she quietly mumbled a bit before quieting down. Huh....that was easier than expected. Another ingrained habit of her old self, perhaps?

Presumably, you don't fuss over those details, and instead get up and head straight to land line phone on a dresser next to your bed (doubtlessly untraceable, given this is the A.V. we're talking about; they don't do anything by half), punching in Taylor's number with exceptional speed.

The first good sign was that you heard that the call was trying to connect, instead of flat out saying that number was not available.

A minute passed, the line gently beeping as it kept trying to connect to her...

...but instead you were dumped straight into voicemail, where for the first time in years you heard the enigmatic thief's voice in pre-recorded form:

"*Beep!* This is mind your damn business, and I don't know HOW in the Underworld you got this number, but leave a message and I'll get back to ya...if its worth my time or your not some creep. Chao~! *Beep!*"

...Well, this was a partial success. Anything you want to say for her to listen to later, or do you just hang back up and try another time (IE: Encounter) ?
