The She-Volbeat starts things off strong by furiously flapping her winds, trying to kick up a might breeze to speed her and cement the Initiative she has!

Being the restful reptile he is, he initially responds by casually shaking his head....before suddenly brought forth a terrify crackling aura of electricity, showing just how unimpressed he really is!

Somewhat cowed by the light show, none the less the bright lady grit her teeth and created suddenly started glowing brilliantly as they produce an orb of light and sent it twirling around the lazy lizard! Illuminate triggered and revealed!

Raijin is left slack jawed at the spectacle, and is Confused as a result!

Unfortunately, this impact his ability to finally channel his Electrical might, as he almost drunkenly swayed as he raised one hand to the sky, before swiftly bringing it down!

THUNDER
(2)(2) …and absolutely nothing happened but him tripping over his feet and slamming face first into the battlefield, taking 1 Damage. The heavens are displeased with Raijin's disorderly conduct, and saw fit to punish him!

Giggling at the apparent failure of her opponent, the Illuminating Insect tail bulb suddenly began to glow even MORE grossly incandescent, as they channeled their natural power to reach even more stunning heights!

The thunder god got back up and tries to zap the gloating gadfly again, this time using by pulsing his own electrical currents in a wide, sweeping arc!

Parabolic Charge
(3)(1)(1)(6) ...which also fails to do much, as the She Volbeat just shot high into the air and hovered well out of the way of the Move. In fact, he just getting blown back and conking his head on the battlefield again as the energy raced back to meet him, making him suffer 1 Damage in the process. Not giving a shock and awe performance here, Raijin...

Fluidity couldn't help but let a few chuckles out and give you a coyly sympathetic at how little was accomplished by your remarkably unlucky dragon, but other than that she kept silent.
